Ilan Zador is a high-school senior in New York City. He loves swimming, learning languages, playing guitar, and exploring the city. He is a polyglot, speaking English, Spanish, French, and Russian. He is captain of his school's swim team and leads a modern language tutoring program. His highlight from his trip to Peru was working alongside Ishmael - the leader of the project - in order to construct bathrooms at a local school, where he also re-painted a world map that had faded away on a concrete wall.
